The Gasthaus zur Post welcomes all with its cosy, inviting ambience and homemade Swiss specialities. The terrace is an inviting place to enjoy in fine weather. Thanks to its location, the inn is also ideal for guests who enjoy hiking & skiing and want to round off their trip to the region with a glass of wine or a fine meal. Our aim is to offer our customers a place where they can celebrate the special moments of life.

Our history

The Gasthaus zur Post was built in 1878 and was run by a variety of innkeepers over the decades. After three months of renovation, the Post now shines in new splendour.  Since May 2020, the inn has been under new management and is run by Dieter Brendel, who is also in charge of Skihaus Hochstuckli.

What We Offer

On our menu there is something for everyone. Enjoy traditional Swiss dishes as well as our homemade specialities in an inviting ambience. You can also rent our exclusive, historic hall for private events and celebrations with a menu tailored to your requests. Furthermore, the Gasthaus zur Post has room for 22 overnight guests.
